Rockpoint Community Church Visit

As part of our ongoing interfaith outreach efforts, Peace Islands Institute revisited Rockpoint Community Church in September 2024. While a previous visit took place in January 2024, the lead pastor had not been available at that time. This follow-up visit provided the opportunity to formally meet the head pastor and further strengthen our connection.

During the visit, the pastor expressed sincere interest in becoming involved with our programs and highlighted the church’s dedication to community engagement, particularly through its vibrant youth groups. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was a clear reflection of the church’s values, aligning closely with PII’s mission of fostering mutual understanding, peace, and collaboration.

This meaningful encounter is a testament to the importance of interfaith dialogue and building lasting relationships across communities.
