As part of its continued efforts to foster interfaith understanding and community collaboration, Peace Islands Institute paid a visit to the First Presbyterian Church of Whippany. The congregation offered a warm welcome, reflecting the spirit of mutual respect and shared values that are central to both communities.
During the visit, participants engaged in conversations highlighting the church’s vibrant youth programs and weekend school initiatives. A meaningful discussion also took place around the figure of Prophet Abraham, a revered spiritual ancestor in both Christian and Islamic traditions underscoring the deep-rooted connections between faiths.
