First Presbyterian Church of Rockaway Visit

Peace Islands Institute continued its interfaith outreach with a visit to the First Presbyterian Church of Rockaway in September 22 of 2024. The congregation, composed of long-standing community members, welcomed the team with genuine warmth and openness.

During the visit, meaningful conversations were held with the young pastor, who was already familiar with Peace Islands Institute through a previous collaborative event in Boonton. This shared connection laid the foundation for future cooperation and deeper mutual understanding.
