6th Annual Peace Festival

The Peace Festival, hosted by the Peace Islands Institute in honor of International Peace Day, is a vibrant celebration of unity and community spirit. Set in the heart of New Jersey, this event brings together individuals from all walks of life to promote peace, dialogue, and friendship in a joyful, diverse environment. The “Peace Festival 25” event aims to foster a sense of community, promote physical well-being, and advance the United Nations’ International Peace Day.

Over the past 2 years, our traditional bike and walk event has grown into a vibrant “Peace Festival” that celebrates the diverse and harmonious spirit of our community in New Jersey. This event aims to unite people and promote peace, dialogue, and friendship. Participants are invited to join their family and friends for forty-five minutes of biking and walking, enjoy live stage performances, savor delicious food, and take part in an exciting raffle!

International Peace Day is celebrated globally each year on September 21st. Established by the United Nations in 1981, this day is dedicated to promoting world peace and the sustainable absence of war and violence. The theme for International Peace Day in 2025 is “Act Now for a Peaceful World.”
