In collaboration with Senator Johnson and Assemblywoman Shama Haider to Support Families in Need

Peace Islands Institute NJ proudly partnered with The Disabled Combat Veterans Youth Program (DCVYP) & Embrace Relief for a special Food Assistance Program this week at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Englewood, NJ.

On Tuesday, July 8th, we were honored to welcome Senator Gordon Johnson and Assemblywoman Shama Haider as we worked together to provide essential groceries and supplies to families in need. Their presence and support highlighted the importance of coming together as a community to address food insecurity.

Through this partnership, we helped ensure that many families received much-needed assistance, spreading compassion and hope to our neighbors.

We extend our sincere gratitude to DCVYP, Senator Johnson, Assemblywoman Haider, and all the volunteers who made this meaningful effort possible. Peace Islands Institute NJ remains committed to building stronger, more supportive communities through collaboration and service.
