PII Talks – Black History Month

Peace Islands Institute hosted a vibrant Black History Month celebration at its Hasbrouck Heights location. The evening featured a heartfelt PII Talk titled “Working Together to Build Peace” with special guest speaker Elorm Ocansey. Guests enjoyed an evening filled with dinner, games, and community conversations centered on unity, cultural appreciation, and collaborative peacebuilding. The event served as a joyful and meaningful tribute to the legacy of Black leaders and the power of togetherness.
