Peace Islands Community Iftar at East Rutherford Community Center
On February 25th, Peace Islands Institute hosted a community Iftar at the East Rutherford Community Center, welcoming more than 150 participants for an evening of connection and shared reflection. Neighbors from diverse backgrounds came together to break their fast, enjoy a meal, and engage in meaningful conversations.
We were especially honored by the presence of Mayor Jeffrey Lahullier of East Rutherford, Sheriff Anthony Cureton, along with other local officials, community members, and interfaith leaders. We are grateful for their support and for everyone who joined us in fostering a spirit of unity, hospitality, and mutual understanding.
