New Jersey Council for the Humanities Sponsors Peace Festival ’24

The New Jersey Council for the Humanities (NJCH) sponsored “Peace Festival ’24,” Peace Islands Institute’s 5th Annual Peace Festival, held on September 8, 2024. NJCH listed the festival among the public humanities events it supports, describing an event that “aims to unite people and promote peace, dialogue, and friendship” through biking and walking, intercultural peace prayers, live music and dance, art for peace, and activities for children.

NJCH is the state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities in New Jersey. Its sponsorship program provided funding to organizations for public humanities events.
