Peace Islands Thanksgiving Programs 2025
Peace Islands Institute’s Thanksgiving Programs brought together diverse communities across New Jersey to celebrate gratitude, dialogue, and shared responsibility. Through interfaith Thanksgiving gatherings, community dinners, and food drives, PII created welcoming spaces where people of different faiths, cultures, and backgrounds could come together around shared values of compassion, service, and mutual respect. Interfaith programs fostered meaningful conversations among religious leaders and community members, strengthening relationships and promoting understanding across differences. Community dinners and Friendsgiving events offered moments of connection and belonging for families, youth, students, and seniors, while food drives and turkey distributions translated dialogue into action by supporting those in need. Together, these Thanksgiving initiatives reflected Peace Islands Institute’s commitment to building bridges, addressing community needs, and nurturing a spirit of unity during a season centered on gratitude and care for one another.
