PII was glad to partake in Paterson’s Third Annual City of Water Day, with its interns. The event served as a platform for environmental advocacy, community engagement, and fostering connections. The Peace Islands Institute left an indelible mark by not only participating in park clean-up activities but also embracing kayaking adventures and engaging with new and amazing individuals.

At Paterson’s City of Water Day, the Peace Islands Institute demonstrated their unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship. They eagerly participated in park clean-up activities, rolling up their sleeves and working tirelessly to restore the natural beauty of the park. Through hands-on efforts, they emphasized the significance of preserving our natural resources and showcased their dedication to creating a sustainable future for all.

In addition to their environmental initiatives, the Peace Islands Institute and their interns seized the opportunity to engage in thrilling kayaking adventures.
