We came together at the festival of Eid-al-Adha!

At the Eid Festival, people came together to celebrate Eid-Al Adha, which was co-sponsored by the Turkish Cultural Center NJ, on July 10th, 2022. The festival took place at 164 Totowa, Wayne. This festival brought people together to celebrate one of the important holidays celebrated in Islam.

The festival brought us together this summer with many entertaining activities and performances such as a Turkish music concert, Sufi music and Magician show, delightful Turkish foods and drinks, like Doner Kebab and Ayran, and many more activities! We had stands for gifts and souvenirs, cotton candies and ice cream, and games that children loved, like bouncy houses. We had raffles that kept people excited throughout the festival.

Moreover, some of our local friends attended the festival including Passaic County Commissioners Pat Lepore and Terry Duffy, Passaic County Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik, Clifton Mayor James A. Anzaldi, and many more! We had the honor to host this event with our friends, families, and many different cultures and share our culture with them.
